Scholarships will be awarded using income generated from the endowment fund. These monetary awards will be divided between sponsoring young adults for wilderness experiences through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and providing scholarships for college students with an interest in Outdoor Leadership through the Parks and Recreation Management Program of Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. We also provide full tuition for deserving students to attend the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Course in Flagstaff each winter. In addition to these awards from the Dustin and Kristen Yoder Memorial Foundation, the faculty at Northern Arizona University has set up a separate scholarship, the Yoder Outdoor Leader Scholarship, which is funded through the NAU Foundation.
